Conveniently located in a Melbourne location, our client is growing the team with four new volunteer positions currently available.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

In this role, the candidate will bring the client’s marketing strategy to life visually, producing on-brand, engaging creative materials for multiple content projects and wider organisational initiatives.

As graphic designer, the candidate will create engaging visual material for a variety of digital formats from paid ads to socials and infographics. The role will be predominantly project based, however the candidate may be asked to produce ad hoc material on occasion.

The role will involve working closely with the client’d marketing team to execute visual content in line with the broader marketing strategy to a defined audience.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Digital campaign creative (working with our Marketing Manager on paid ad campaigns)

  • Designing educational user content such as Infographics, Fact sheets and reports

  • Social creative (working with our Social Media Manager to design social imagery)

  • Suggest new and creative content for reaching clients/helping tenants

  • Collaborating with internal team members, getting stuck into various other projects across the organisation where design elements required

  • Maintain brand & style guides to ensure all marketing material and creative communication is consistent

  • Manage design files, fonts, photos and graphic materials library

Candidate Profile: ​

The ideal candidate will have a creative flair combined with progressing design skills:

  • Minimum 1 year of professional experience in a design role

  • A portfolio of creative examples you’ve produced

  • An eye for modern, engaging aesthetic, understanding of UX and layout design

  • Knowledge with the Creative Cloud Suit and other design tools, such as Figma (opportunity to upskill)

  • Proven experience in working independently on self-managed projects

  • High attention to detail, with sharp typing accuracy and excellent spelling and grammar

  • A ‘Yes’ attitude, happy to get stuck in wherever creatively needed.
